The National Farm Queen epitomizes grace, personality, intelligence, the right values, and attitudes all encapsulated by agricultural knowledge. She represents the agricultural sector for one year and therefore must be cognizant of the issues affecting the sector.

The National Farm Queen Competition is one of the major highlights of the annual three-day Denbigh Agricultural & Industrial Show. The coronation of the National Farm Queen is the main entertainment event on the first day of the show.
